In just 1996 to 2003 alone, more than 500,000 Americans served in six different operations that qualified them for the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, making them eligible for membership in the VFW. Why should you join the VFW?

- the local post is involved in the neighborhood, your neighborhood;

- the local post provides family-oriented activities;

- the local post provides a comfortable place to socialize with other military vets;

- the other members of the local post can provide a network and information on local resources;

Stop by the monthly business meeting to meet some of the other members. Don't forget that you'll need to provide a copy of your DD 214 when you join. Welcome!!!
